These turned out perfectly! Thank you for such a great recipe! They were well worth the 24 hour cooking time!

Onion French Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
I halved this recipe except for the onion soup mix and it turned out to be very, very good, it tasted kinda like a really good onion bagel. Next time I won't half the recipe but maybe double it. Yumm! Thanks for a great recipe!

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
These pretzels were great! Easy to make(I'm new to baking-so "easy" is saying alot for me). I didn't get the "soft pretzel skin" on mine but they were good...the family had them gone within an hour of them coming out of the oven. I served them with some cheese sauces (the men wanted jalapeno sauce of course) and they went over wonderfully, Thanks for a great recipe!

Oven Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
According to my husband this was "addicting" though my kids would rather have regular pancakes. I added some brown sugar to the mix (not sure how much). After baking I cut it into dunkable pieces and served it with little cups of syrup and preserves. The family had fun experimenting with the different flavors. Quick and easy, it'll be a go to on those rainy Sundays when I don't feel like doing much, thanks for the recipe!

Unbelievable Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
I'm giving this only 2 stars because mine turned out like dense little balls. They had great flavor so I will try to make them again but, I think that this recipe might turn out better by kneading the dough longer and allowing more time for the dough to rest and rise.

Beer Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
These burgers were fantastic! I added an egg and used burger seasoning instead of salt and pepper, everyone loved them so much they were still talking about them the next day! Thanks for a great recipe!

German Rouladen

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
The main things about this recipe that differs from the way it is made in germany is the ingredients; german mustard is spiced differently than ours-the closest to it is dijon, and yes horse radish is necessary, also german pickles (or gerkins) are sweeter than our dill pickles but not as sweet as our bread n butter pickles-good luck finding an in-between in your local grocery and german bacon for this recipe is cut from a block not just cut "American" thick. It should not only cook for a long time but it should also sit for about an hour after cooking before it is served. It is a delish dish when prepared right-good luck to all!!

These were so good that we ran out of them in no time, even my four year old loved them! Next time we are making twice as many and extra butter for dipping. Thank you for this one!
