About this Cook
I'm a university student who is greatly missed at home for her cooking abilities. I'm majoring in finance but I want to go to culinary school after I graduate.
My favorite things to cook
Anything new. I love to do dinners for my friends all the way from drinks and appetizers to dessert. I like making breads because I get to use my hands, and I like desserts because.... well, it's dessert. Who doesn't love it?
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a pretty wide background and there are many culinary traditions in my family, but the first that springs to mind is our Ukrainian Christmas feast. Varenyki (peroghies), sausage, cabbage rolls, ham, brussels sprouts and grandma's buns. Yum!
My cooking triumphs
I made my first loaf of bread (on accident) when I was about 4.
My cooking tragedies
Have you ever made water burn? Or served something that smelled like a fish gutting station to your boyfriends' family?

Wedding Cake
Wonderful! Perfect for a hobby baker! I liked it with a little almond flavoring added, too.
