Baked Penne with Italian Sausage

This is sensational!!! I love the zing of the Italian sausage. I used cooking wine rather than regular drinking wine and it was delish!! Highly recommend!

Baked Spaghetti

This was delicious, and made wonderful leftovers. The one thing I will do differently next time is add more sauce. Other than that, it's perfect as is.

Sausage Hash Brown Bake

Some reviewers suggested using canned chicken to save on prep time. I tried this and did not like it -- it gave the dip a very tuna-like flavor. I would try this again, but with fresh chicken breasts.

Beefy Baked Ravioli

I made this last night and it was sooo yummy! Like other reviewers have stated, it tastes just like lasagna (but is much easier to make). I used the entire 25 oz. package of raviolis and thawed them before putting into a 9 x 13 dish. Also, you need to increase the amount of spaghetti sauce to about 26 oz. I definitely recommend this ... a definite crowd pleaser!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

These tasted great, but I made the mistake of following one reviewer and dropped the cookies on a baking sheet and sprinkled them with the cinnamon/sugar topping instead of rolling them into balls. This produced a strange result -- the cookies stuck to the cookie sheet (had to pry them off) and they did not hold together at all. I will follow the recipe more closely next time.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

This recipe is quite good. Some pointers, though -- I would mash the bananas and use 3 instead of 2. Adding a little ground cinnamon to the batter helps with the flavor. Also, I noticed that this bread is much, much tastier after sitting for a day on the counter or in the fridge. Fresh out of the oven it is not nearly as good as it is later on.

Breakfast Casserole II

This is a good recipe, but is lacking a little something. I would suggest using spicy instead of regular sausage and increasing the amount of sausage used. Also, adding onions and peppers would likely do wonders to this dish. It was very good, though, and heated up very nicely for the next few days.
