I think this is one of the best chili recipes I have ever made. I love spicy food and thought this was the perfect blend of spice, with one change. I did not have any canned jalepenos on-hand so instead I used one fresh, seeded jalepeno and it was perfect. For the beans I used 1 can garbonzo beans, 1 can cannellini beans and 1 can pinto beans. Before adding the beans I put approx 1/3 of each can (unrinsed) into the blender, pureed and then added everything to the pot. I also grilled my chicken which added a nice layer to the flavor. This would be great to serve to a large group with a variety of toppings and add-ons (rice, crushed tortilla chips, avocado slices, pico de gallo, etc).
