Pork Chops with Blackberry Port Sauce

Great Recipe!! I very rarely make the same recipe twice, just because there are so many different thing to try. But my husband actually requested this be made again- we're already thinking up different dishes to use the sauce in. I added 2 cloves of minced garlic to the onions, and used grape juice/lime juice & zest in place of the port wine.

Donut Muffins

Wonderful Treat!! I doubled the recipe and it made 48 mini muffins. I added about 2 tsp. of cinnamon to the batter and I did not double the nutmeg. Will make again!

Bourbon Street Rib-Eye Steak

I followed the recipe exactly even had Rib-Eye Steaks on hand. I marinated for just 8 hours and there was not as much flavored as I hoped there would be. They smelled wonderful on the grill, but only a few bites of my steak were full of flavor. I think I will make this again, but next time definatly try a 24 hour marinate; I might also try it will chicken breasts.

Cinnamon-Topped Rhubarb Muffins

These are wonderful!!! I tossed in some strawberries chopped pretty small and replaced 1/2 of the oil with applesauce. Very yummy!!

Whole Wheat Sweet Potato Muffins

I was very excited to try these while I was baking them. The first ones we had, when they were still warm, were excellent. But as they sat they got very gummy and we ended up throwing away what wasn't eaten the first day. Also, mine did not rise very well, but that could have been my mistake in measuring.

Monkey Bread V

WONDERFUL!! I only used 2 tubes of biscuits but kept the other measurements the same. Once cooked it filled an entire bundt pan and the gooey caramel was spread evenly. Will become a staple weekend breakfast around here!

Caramel Shortbread Squares

The shortbread was really good, but I added a tsp. of vanilla and a couple tablespoons of sour cream. I doubled the caramel portion, because we love caramel. My chocolate didn't set very well, and kind of seperated overnight. I refrigerated the shortbread before adding the caramel and then refrigerated again before adding the chocolate and had no problems with cutting the bars.

One Skillet Corned Beef Hash

My husband said it was wonderful! I'm not a big breakfast person, so I didn't have any. I used slices of leftover corned beef out of the crock pot. He ate it with an over easy egg on top.

Guinness® Corned Beef

So Yummy!!! I cooked mine in the crockpot on low for 8 hours. But stuck to the recipe other than that. It was fall apart tender and perfect for our St. Patrick's Day dinner!

Marzetti® Barbecue Slaw

I recently served this at a large family gathering (I doubled the recipe) and it was raved about. I served 10 different dishes and this is the one that several people asked the recipe for. Only thing I did differently was used 2 bags of coleslaw mix in place of the cabbages and carrots. I will make it again, because it has already been requested for summer barbecues!!

Skillet Apple Brownie

Very Yummy!! My husband wasn't a huge fan, but they came out with a custardy texture and he doesn't like that. But I enjoyed them and enjoyed them again for breakfast the next day.

Sweet and Sour Sauce II

This was a wonderful sauce!!! We used it for dipping baked egg rolls (from this site) in, then used the leftover sauce the next night to make a chicken stir fry. Very yummy!!

Peanut Butter Bars
