I love to eat and am a dedicated FOODIE. I can't live without a great cup of coffee and an amazing meal. Will travel for food. A one hour drive for lunch is nothing. My Mom is an amazing cook who got me started on my food adventure. My Father loved all exotic foods so I inherited my food obsession.

My favorite things to cook
I love to cook all foods. My favorite is strong tasting foods or ethnic foods. I use recipes for inspiration but rarely follow them exactly. My favorite thing is took cook a great meal for family and friends to enjoy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a New England Family but grew up in Baltimore suburbs. My father traveled a lot. He would taste something oversees then come back and see if we could make it at home. We always loved good food. Lobster, crams, whole fried clams (I wish I could find some in Baltimore). We had sardines on crackers for a snack and my first food was an olive.
My cooking triumphs
I can taste a dish and recreate it. I also make a very good leg of lamb and chicken marsala.
My cooking tragedies
I cannot make cheese cake or Papusas (El Salvadorian stuffed tortillas)
