Big Cheeseburger Pizza

This recipe was easy to make and delivered the taste of a big mac as promised! I used pre-made dough from TJs and I baked it for about 5 minutes before I put the dressing on - I was worried that the dough would be soggy with the dressing, meat, onions, and cheese. Also, I used mozza because we prefer that. But other than this, followed the recipe exactly, and it tasted great. Not the healthiest, not the most gourmet, but definitely a fun change from regular pepperoni pizza!!

Vegan Black Bean Soup

If you use homemade stock (I used vegie), dry beans, fresh/frozen corn, and fresh tomatoes I think that this is very healthy and great for protein and fiber. I added zucchini, mushrooms, half a cup of barley to soak up some of the liquid, extra garlic and spices, and then chopped green onions on top for serving. It's really good, but I feel like I'm eating chili soup because of the flavour profile - this is not a bad thing, but I think next time I will nix the stock and just make black bean chili with this recipe. Still great though, so definitely 5 stars.

Candied Almonds

Great recipe and very easy, even for me, because I don't often cook with sugar. Keep stirring until the sugar crystallizes - don't stop too soon, otherwise the almonds will be sticky. I tested a few through the process to make sure I was on track. I added a tsp of ginger for a little zip (I love ginger) and put them on tin foil to cool. Thanks for the recipe!

Pizza Dough I

This is an excellent recipe. I use it to make pretzels all the time. I recently added bits of chopped jalapeños to the recipe and it was amazing !!

Ramen Noodle Frittata

This wasn't bad. I used Chili flavoured ramen noodles which added some *zing*, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. I found it a bit dense, so when I make it again, I'll probably add some onions or shallots and maybe less noodles. Otherwise, it was surprisingly good for something so easy !
