Streusel Coffee Cake Mix

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2008
Very moist and flavorful! I used coconut oil instead of vegetable oil but it didn't give it any different taste. Very good! The little ones loved it! A recipe I will be using for a long time to come.

Ground Beef Bar-b-que

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
I really liked the flavor and they were very juicy and easy to do but the hamburgers kept falling apart. I added an egg to the mix and that seemed to help a little.

Julie's Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
I thought it had too much mayonaisse (but I am not a mayo person). Didn't add the avocado or walnuts but the kids loved it! Made those faces first but after they tried it...

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
These cookies are so yummy!! I am not a peanut butter fan but I could eat these by the batches! The family loved them too and they were incredibly easy to make! I used a pizza stone to bake them on and I needed to cook them a couple minutes longer but otherwise I followed the recipe. Hubby says better than Nutter Butters because they aren't dry! YUM!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
This was very good! I didn't have a frozen pie crust so I used the Never Fail Pie Crust II on this website. I will double the sauce next time because it was a little dry, but still very good. I did add garlic powder to the mixture like one of the other reviewers suggested and I didn't have celery salt on hand so I omitted it, but otherwise stayed with the recipe. I will definitely be making this again!!

Never Fail Pie Crust II

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
This was so easy to make! My first pie crust! I used it for the Chicken Pot Pie IX recipe on this website and it turned out very yummy! I used half shortening and half butter because I didn't have enough shortening. I followed another reviewers suggestion and rolled it between two floured sheets of waxed paper. I should've rolled it a bit thinner but it was still very good!

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
I really didn't like this one...coming from German background it honestly didn't taste much like mom made or a German restaurant would make...way too much sour cream, in fact, you probably don't need to add very much. And as another reviewer had mentioned it was pretty over powering. I would use just one can of soup or even just use beef gravy in lieu of the soup.

Shrimp Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
This is the first stir-fry I've made without using a packet or jar of premade sauce. I thought it was very good but it needed a little something more...maybe more garlic. My husband loves Chinese food and mentioned how we won't have to order in now that I can make it to his liking. ;) Thanks for the recipe!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
I do not like bananas so I did not taste this. What to do with those pesky bananas that are going bad? Definitely make banana bread! The family enjoyed this bread and suggested add-ins (nuts, chocolate chips, etc...). I will most definitely make this again. It smells wonderful while it bakes!

Honey Limeade

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
This was a little sweeter than I like so next time I will use less sugar. Also, I juied the limes myself and have to say the fresh lime juice was great! I will need to get a juicer though, it really was more work than I bargained for.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
I really like this! I thought it had a great flavor. I have only made pulled pork with the ready made mixes and liked this so much better. I will be using this again! Thanks for the recipe!

Homemade Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
I am not much of a lasagna fan but I decided to use the meat sauce as my spaghetti sauce. It was good as lasagnas go but the sauce is much better than the jarred ones in the stores plus I can add more extras to it! Thank you for the recipe!

Chip Dip

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
This is really good!! My daughter loves it! (she hates onions btw) I have already made this a few times but each time was different...I've used onion powder to chives and even add garlic powder to it. Really easy to make, too! Definitely a keeper and gone almost as soon as I make it! Thanks!

Pumpkin Chocolate Dessert Cake

Reviewed: May 10, 2009
Wow! This was really yummy! I added chocolate chips as suggested by some reviewers and it turned out very good! Really rich though so a small slice is enough. I didn't have a bundt pan so I used 2 pie tins...kept them separate instead of making a layered cake. It turned out really well and most importantly the kids loved it! 8D
