This is my family's favorite cake recipe. We save it for special occasions like Christmas eve and birthdays because it is THAT GOOD. It is decadent, yet not overly sweet. The flavors of the cream, chocolate, cherries, and liquor all come together for a perfect, elegant cake. Seriously. You won't be disappointed. And it is EVEN BETTER on the second day, so I try to make this cake at least a day in advance if I can. If not, that's fine---it just means better leftovers :).

Crunchy Chicken Nuggets

I thought this recipe was good! I took a previous reviewer's suggestion and coated the chicken with seasoning first, egg second, and rice krispies a little crunched up last. It turned out great! They were crunchy, tasty, and the coating did not fall off. I think the coating falling off might be due to the chicken being too wet before putting it in the egg. I would make this recipe again!!

Black-Eyed Pea Gumbo

Yummy! We added some cajun spices. Beware, though, because our family of four had to eat it for dinner three times before the pot was gone. It makes a LOT.
