Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2015
Thought this was really good and fresh. I did double the sauce and used fresh instead of frozen pea pods but otherwise prepared as written. Thanks for a great recipe!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
This is easy, fast, healthy and good! I made the recipe exactly as is and served over rice to my husband and 4 teenage boys and it was liked by all. The next time I think I will double the sauce just to have a little more sauce over the rice. Thanks for a great recipe!

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
This was really good. I made the recipe exactly as written with the exception of not precooking the noodles. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars for me is that it felt a little like it need something more....more veggies or something to make it more substantial and it's flavor is very dependent on the jarred sauce you choose. I loved the addition of the package of herb and garlic feta on top. Thank you for a great and easy recipe!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2010
These were really good..moist and great flavor. I only made 2 slight changes. I didn't have plain yogurt so I used vanilla yogurt as a substitute and then only added about a half teaspoon of the vanilla extract instead of 1 teaspoon. I also added about a quarter cup of walnuts. Delicious!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
This was as good as any nice italian restaurant! I did follow other reviewer's suggestions and put the eggplant out for about 30 minutes with sea salt to "sweat" it and it really helped to make the eggplant crispy instead of soggy. I followed the recipe exactly other than adding a little extra on the parmesan cheese. I also think the sauce you use is key to good flavor....you have to love it. I used a meat sauce out of the jar called Mid's. Delicious! Thanks for a great recipe.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
This was excellent! I am not much of a fish eater but my husband is. I made this as a treat for him and we both really liked as well as our 2 boys. I followed the recipe exactly except I used one reviewer's suggestion to put each piece in foil individually wrapped for cooking and baked at 425 degrees for about 15 minutes. Easy and very good.

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
This is a really great and healthy recipe. Even my 11 and 14 year olds and one of there friends all had seconds on this one. It is a great way to get veggies and the flavor is terrific! The only changes I made were to use red peppers for stuffing because I don't like green peppers. Also, I used a can of Italian style (pasta style) diced tomatoes and skipped the Italian seasoning instead of plain diced tomatoes with the seasoning. This will be a regular. Thanks!!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This is a great easy recipe! It is rare that I find a recipe that everyone in my family of 4 likes. I made it exactly as written with the exception that I added a little extra ham and added about an extra teaspoon of flour because it seemed a wee bit thin. I didn't think it needed any added salt. I have a hand chopper/dicer from williams-sonoma that makes the chopping very easy and quick and really speeds up a recipe like this one. Thank you for the recipe!

Heavenly Chipped Chocolate and Hazelnut Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
This was a great recipe that will serve a large crowd. It is definitely rich so a little goes a long way in serving a group. This was the first time a made a cheesecake and mine fell a little after taking it out of the oven. I think it may have been because I mixed it on high instead of low. I did have trouble getting the crust to stick on the sides of the pan so had to add more butter. Will make again and correct my mistakes. Thank you for sharing a great recipe.

Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
Great recipe and easy to follow. We couldn't stop eating it...breakfast, lunch, dinner. I made these very minor changes: left out the ham, used about 2/3 of each of the cheeses to cut out a few of the calories, and used the precooked thick cut bacon that you microwave. It was perfect! Thanks for a sharing a wonderful recipe!

Preparation for this recipe is a breeze. Great flavor. I baked the chicken (bone in and skinned) at 375 for 45 minutes...super tender.
