Chicken Pasta Salad

I got everything on the list from the local grocer. I used honey mustard -nothing fancy(like Kraft). I used 2 bell peppers (red & yellow). Preparation: I read it would only take 15 minutes - but it didn’t. It took more like 45 minutes but you could easily knock off :20 buying pre-made chicken strips. You’ll notice while mixing the mayo & spices just how creamy and tasty this dressing is. You really don’t have to like curry to love this recipe. Varying from the recipe, I went ahead and mixed everything together & threw it in the fridge. I let it chill for a couple hours. End Result: It makes a lot! 20-30 people as a side / 10 servings as a meal. Don’t cut the recipe - you will eat the whole thing. It is actually better the next day when all the flavors meld together and everything is nicely chilled. All the textures were wonderful - don’t skimp on the shredded carrots. Not one spice or veggie was too distinct or overpowering. I really liked it, my wife LOVED it. Friends and family enjoyed it and wanted the recipe to make. It’s just slightly different then the ordinary and is still mainstream delicious. Overall I give it a 4.5 stars. I will be making it again this summer. Hats off to the author of this recipe.

Russian Tea Cakes I

Great Xmas cookie! Just made them. Fantastic and easy - Great tasting. I followed the directions exactly with the exception of my oven temp was 335-340 for about 11-12 minutes. i made two batches (one without nuts). I baked them until the tops just barely showed a crack - I didn't wait for the bottoms to get golden brown. I sat them out and let them cool for a few hours before putting the in sugar. They are light and rich at the same time. I don't know how anyone could not love these unless they didn't follow the recipe. Dough was perfect even after refrigerating one batch for a couple days (until I got around to baking it). Cheers to the Author!
