Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
I can't say anything more about this dish but "WOW!" Changes I made: 1 lb. chicken, 2 taco seasoning packets , 1 entire jar of salsa, no water (just didn't drain the corn or beans), 2 cups shredded cheese (we like cheese). I used a 9x13 dish and it all fit just fine. Do yourself a favor and make this tonight!

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
It almost doesn't make sense how good these brownies taste for how easy they were to make! Except maybe for the chocolate chips, everyone should have the rest of the ingredients in their kitchen, making it very easy to whip up some delicious brownies at the spur of the moment!

Easy Baklava

Sweet Caesar's Ghost! Delicious! I think next time I make it I'll better saturate the sheets of phyllo dough with butter; after baking, the sheets were a little dry for my taste. The sauce poured on top was so tasty with the lemon zest!

Greek Saganaki

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
Really tasty for cheese-lovers like us! The oregano didn't stick as much as I would've liked it to. Maybe if I added it after frying the cubes as they dried? A big hit with everyone, nonetheless!

Fast Rice Pudding

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
Amazing! Everyone loved it! Great recipe, but to reach desired consistency I kept it on low heat for almost 15 minutes. Will definitely make it again! Super easy!

Asian Pasta

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
I enjoyed the aspect of the heat of the cayenne pepper and cilantro with the chilled pasta, but the dish as a whole I found a bit bland in terms of flavor. Perhaps experimenting with different vegetables would yield a more desirable outcome. Also, quite simple to prepare!

Asian Sugar Snap Pea Appetizer

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
Great flavor, although I found that there was a bit of sauce left over. I used frozen snap peas straight from the freezer into the broiler and it turned out great!
