Feeding Soccer Boys Helped me Become an Expert Cook!

My son Erik was the most social child I have ever known.  When he was young he brought home friends from school and asked if he could have a sleep over.  Over time the one or two boys became 10 to 30 boys and that is no exaggeration!  As anyone could imagine our grocery bill grew and so did my cooking skills.  He is now 23 and to this day I feed his friends during the holidays, summer break and just about anytime they get a chance to come by.  I have learned that cooking is a special gift that brings people together and creates special memories.  I love to get a call from his friends to let me know they are in town and want to come by for dinner!  It makes me feel pretty special that they think of me and of course LOVE my cooking :)

My son was/is like that as well! We always said we could stick him in a room with 200 strangers for an hour. He'd come out of that room with all their phone numbers, e-mail addresses and plans to get together! One of his best friends he's had since elementary school (they are now 22 years old) looks forward to a container of my cookies every Christmas. It does make you feel good doesn't it??

What a wonderful tribute to you, that they still call for your cooking. :)

my neighbor's mom makes $67/hr on the computer. She has been out of a job for 8 months but last month her paycheck was $7113 just working on the computer for a few hours. Here's the site to read more... LazyCash5.com
