About this Cook
I am newly married and love trying new recipes on my husband. He is a good sport and honest so that I do not try a "no go" when entertaining. I find baking as a stress reliever! I also enjoy working out, going on walks, reading and most importantly enjoy good food with my wonderful family and friends!
My favorite things to cook
Like I said I love to bake, so if it is kinda sweet and warm I LOVE it! The best part about baking is finding ways to make the selection healthier, I love cooking healthy but as anyone knows it is very difficult to "bake" healthy! But there are a few ways to improve the nutritional value as well as cut calories and fat!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother, sister, neice and I get together every December to bake our Christmas cookies. It is a wonderful memory I look forward to every year!

World's Best Lasagna
I just put this all together last night, and it made a huge pan!! and a small pan perfect for a few days of my hubby's lunch! I did as one review suggested by not "cooking" the noodles but just soaking them in hot water, will do this ALWAYS, worked very well. I also did not let the sauce simmer for more than 1/2 hour and then put it all together and placed it in the fridge and baked the next day. I think it really was the best lasagna I have EVER had! Thank you!

Challah I
Very good, for my first time making challah on my own I was surprised, will use the advise of friend and use oil and cornmeal on the pan. Loved the flavor though, eggy and sweet!
