Slow-Cooked German Short Ribs

Excellent recipe. The meat was very tender and juicy and there was plenty of sauce for us. Was a little bland for my taste and my husband agreed. Next time I'll add a little extra vinegar.

Need a bit more meat for my family, so will double the amount of GB next time. I was out of canned tomatoes so used Rotel instead. It was a good substitution for us as the dish would have been a bit bland without it. Needs some salt and pepper during the cooking stage. I doubled the soup and added extra tomatoes, but was still a bit dry.

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

So quick and easy and delicious. I followed the recipe exactly and will definitely use again. My husband doesn't eat much chicken and this was easy to decrease so that I didn't have a ton of leftovers.

No-Bake Cornflake Cookies

This was so easy and good. My husband's family used to have peanut butter and syrup stirred together and spread on crackers for dessert if there wasn't anything sweet and he said this reminded him of that. I think next time will use chunky peanut butter. The peanuts would have been an added treat.

I found this to be an excellent recipe just as it is. Simple and good. I was lazy, however, and used canned lemon pie filling instead of the sauce and it worked great.

Fresh Pear Cake

This cake is moist and full of flavor. Reminds me of a fresh apple cake. The only alterations I made were to used 2 whole eggs instead of 4 egg whites and I omitted the cloves as we don't care for that particular spice. I will definitely make this one again.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Very good flavor, but the cookies were very soft and sticky. I cooked the second batch 12 minutes instead of 8-10 and that helped.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

This recipe is excellent. I made the cookies on Monday and Friday they were still moist and chewy. With just my husband and I at home now, the amount was just right. I will definitely use this one again.

Honey Wheat Cookies

This is a good place to start, but definitely needs some tweaking. I made them by the recipe and the bran is a bit overwhelming and the milk powder is too strong. If I make them again I'll decrease the bran to 1/4 cup and increase the ww flour to 1 1/4 cup. May cut back on the milk powder as well. Think it needs a little more Peanut Butter and maybe some spice, like cinnamon or nutmeg. I may add a little brown sugar as some of the other reviewers suggested.

Excellent flavor. I substituted lemon juice for the wine since I didn't have any wine and it didn't affect the flavor adversely. Will definitely use this one again.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Great recipe. I did brown in a small amount of oil before baking instead of in the oven, but followed the rest of the recipe as is and was very pleased with the results. Tasted very much like the eggplant that I've eaten in Olive Garden.

Cranberry Pork Roast

I made this for Sunday lunch and followed the recipe exactly as written. OMG! It's wonderful. Even my picky husband loved it and went back for seconds. He's already wondering if the sauce would be great on a steak. Thank you for a great recipe.
