Sugar Free Apple Pie

I have a brother who is type 1 diabetic, so I'm always on the lookout for good recipes that I can make for him.  This one came from a Weight Watcher's meeting and is so good.  Most times when I make it no one guesses that it's sugar free.  Of course, you still need to be careful of the fat and carbs in the fruit and crust, but it not to bad for an occasional dessert.
APPLE PIE
1 can of unsweetened pie sliced apples (or fresh apples sliced)
1 - 6 ounce can  frozen apple juice concentrate
3 Tablespoons all purpose flour
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2-3 package of sweet and low
pie crust recipe for double crust pie
Mix apples, juice, cinnamon and sweetner.  Pour into crust and dot with butter.  Top with second crust.  Cut slits to allow for steam.  Bake at 400 degrees until crust is brown.
8 servings equals
1 bread
2 fruit
1/2 fat
plus 110 calories

Donna, If you want to post your recipes where lots of people see them there is another site that has a spin off group of AR friends that you can join. The site is called grouprecipes.com and the AR folks are in a group called the refugees that Keni started a while back. There are over a thousand of our recipes there and 175 or so members. It's a private group so if you go to it and contact Keni there she can let you in. The site has it's quirks but the recipes and the chat are great.
