I love to cook anything with garlic...and cheese is also one of my fave I can cook Italian or simple easy great tasting meals always from scratch I do not used processed products and the only thing in my pantry is canned tomatoes or fruits or mushroom soup which in a pinch can be the beginning of a great sauce. My cooking tragedies
I set the oven on fire when I was melting butter for bake potatoes...this was years ago when microwaves were not in every household....

Easy Indian Butter Chicken
I make this but use only apx. 4 pats of butter and use one small container of plain yogurt and 1/4 cup of heavy cream and also with the gram marsala add 1 teaspoon Indian curry. I mix all the ingredients but the cream in a bowl and coat the chicken (I like my chicken on the bone)and place in a baking dish or a clay pot and pour sauce over chicken and bake I serve it with honey drizzled over top to take away the bitterness and bake at 325 unttil chicken is done and tender. I also used chopped tomatoes along with tomato sauce.

Hobo Beef and Vegetable Soup
I make this but instead to make it more of a "Hobo Soup" I buy 2-3 cans of mixed vegetables and 1 chopped onion and minced garlic and 1-2 cans of chopped tomatoes (not stewed tomatoes they are too sweet) and add the broth or instant bouillon and add the ground beef raw and place all this in a crockpot or stock pot and just like the hobo would do-all in 1 pot. Add the spices according to taste or just rely on the ones in the canned veges. quick and easy and very economical!

Butternut Squash Soup
I have tried this recipe and others probably experienced that peel and cutting a butternut squash is a pain unless u have a very very sharp knife I found it easier to pierce the squash and place it in the over at 400 degrees until it can be pierced with a fork smoothly then I let it cool and cutting it is a breeze and all you have to do is peel the tought skin off.
