Soups, cupcakes, casseroles, breakfast, pastas, anything with eggplant.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a long line of pie-folk, but I'm just now learning the trade. Grandma could make anything out of nothing. I want to be like that.
My cooking triumphs
Learned to make eggplant Parmesan by making French Toast with eggplant, and replacing the spices. Could have been tragic, but now it's a family favorite.
My cooking tragedies
Almost failed Home Ec. Made cookies with a cup of baking soda instead of a teaspoon. Not good.
