BREAKSTONE'S Sour Cream Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
I'm not sure what went wrong for me, but this did not turn out at all. I followed the recipe exactly but somehow ended up with undercooked potatoes and big globs of Velveeta. Waste of time and ingredients! It seems to have worked for others though, so not sure what happened!

I was scared to make this becuase I've never tried making seafood at home before. This was easy and delicious. I recommend it to other novices like myself!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
Awesome! So easy to put together, I just browned the beef in the evening, and the next morning threw it all the crockpot before work. Came home to a hot meal and a great smelling apartment!

Margie's Shortbread Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
These were okay, but didn't really taste like a shortbread to me. I had to increase the water to 1/3 cup like the other reviewer suggested to make the dough workable. They remind me of a plain oatmeal cookie.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
This was very good. The sauce was delicious! I gave it 4 stars because I added a can of cream of mushroom soup to make more sauce.

Great fall cake. I baked in a 9x13 glass pan for 35 minutes and it turned out great. Topped with cream cheese icing and it was awesome! Very moist!

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
This recipe was good, but not as good as I had hoped. I put a little extra broccoli and less dill than the recipe called for and used mozz. cheese instead of cheddar because it was all I had. I think next time I will stick to the recipe and use cheddar though! I also didn't use any peppers and onions and garlic powder instead of fresh. These were all things I had on hand, I didn't want to run to the grocery! A neat recipe though, I will try again with the right cheese.

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Didn't really like this recipe. I don't really like peppers though, so I think it's just me! Won't make again.

Iced Pumpkin Blondies

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
This was really easy to make! I remember eating these as a kid at fall festivals and was excited to find this on the site. I think I went a little overboard on the pumpkin and put a whole can instead of just one cup! Next time I will follow the directions!

Italian Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
This recipe was very easy to make and best of all required ingredients I had in my pantry. I have never tried these cookies before, so I am not sure how this one stacks up against others and am still getting used to the cookie itself. Still a great recipe!

Campbell's Kitchen Country Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
This recipe was okay. It is very easy to make, with little prep time and ingredients most people have on hand. I used canned chicken to make it even easier! This would be a good recipe for a busy school night, but definetly not one for company!

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
This was my first attempt at making a cheesecake. The recipe was easy to follow and the end result was awesome! I did follow the modifications of other reviewers; cooking with a pan of water below, and increasing the amount of cheesecake filling. If anyone else is anxious about making a cheeseake for the first time I say go for it, this one is great!

Kelsey's Cheesy Bacon Breasts

Reviewed: May 5, 2008
This recipe was a tasty easy dinner! I made a few changes though...I don't really like regular mustard so I used 1/2 honey mustard, 1/2 BBQ Sauce mixed together. Topped it off with the sauce mixture, precooked bacon strips and let it bake for 20 minutes before putting shredded cheese on for the last 10. I had to use Mozzarella (didn't have any cheddar) but the results were still great! My toughest critic approved this recipe!
