Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2003
I brought this once to a potluck at work. It was the star of the show! Now when the potluck list comes around my name is already added with this as my contribution. Where has this recipe been all my life? I have been making spinach salad with bacon dressing forever. This is much easier and a little healthier.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2003
I have made this 3 times in the last 2 months. It is fantastic, and very easy. It only takes minutes to put it together. Other 7 layer dips include ground beef and I think it taste funny when it is chilled, not to mention takes more time to do. The combo of the sour cream and cream cheese is heavenly. Nobody could figure out what that layer was. I have gotten rave reviews from all that have dug into it. Superb!!!

Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2007
What a wonderful soup! It makes alot more than 8 servings. The grocery store forgot to put my spinach in the bag, so I didn't put that in my soup. It was still delicious. Otherwise, I followed the recipe to a "T". This will become part of my tried and true recipes and I will be making it many, many more times!

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2003
This is good stuff. Now we don't have to go to a restaurant to have biscuits and gravy. This is better than any restaurant gravy I've ever had.

Excellent! Moist and delicious...Very easy to make. We couldn't keep our hands off it. My family and I agree that it was better the day after baking. I will make sure to keep the ingredients on hand. A definate keeper. Update 10/2003... My son 18yo son requested this as his birthday cake this year. He is just mad about it!

Artichoke Bruschetta

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
Soooo good! I just made them and my husband and I ate them all up for lunch. I added a bit of tomato. I don't think you have to add it, but it was a nice touch. These will be great for the holidays! You could make up the topping ahead of time and preslice the bread and keep in a ziploc bag. So then putting them together with guests there would be a snap!

Barbequed Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
I added this recipe to my box 6 weeks ago and have already made them 4 times! Infact, I have some in the oven right now. The ONLY drawback is the time involved. Although, it is not difficult at all, you need to plan ahead. But, boy are they worth the wait!!! This batch was at the request of my husband for his birthday dinner tomorrow. The smell of the sauce cooking on the stove is pure heaven and there is no better sauce! Try them...you will LOVE them.

I thought is was an odd mixture of flavors. Asian meets Southwest? I didn't dislike but I am not sure I would make it again.

Cranberry Relish with Grand Marnier® and Pecans

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
I've made this recipe for 3 years straight (can't believe I didn't rate it sooner) It is the best! Family asked for the recipe and just loved it. When I think of Thanksgiving, I think...oh boy, time for that delicious cranberry relish. It's that good! I get the mini bottle of Grand Marnier and it is a perfect 1/4 cup.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
This recipe brings rice pudding to a whole new level. Definately no where near the the gloppy stuff from the grocery store. I used 1/2 and 1/2, since I had some left over from another recipe and it was so good and rich! However, I have also made it with 2% milk and it was still a winner.

Honey-Mustard Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
Very yummy! I thought it would be kind annoying to have to baste every 15 minutes. But I just set my timer to help me remember. Otherwise, it is a very simple recipe. The flavor is subtle and delicious! I really liked it leftover and cut up in a tossed salad.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
The filling was delicious! I opted to spray them with non-stick spray and bake them. Not really a good idea. They were too dry. Next time I will cook them in oil. Goes great with Amy's Cilantro Sauce. Yum

Bananas Foster II

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
I only found this recipe 2 weeks ago and have made it 3 times already. It is quick, easy and very impressive as a dessert. My husband LOVED it and he isn't really crazy about bananas. I used coconut rum and pecans in mine. Simply devine!
