Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
This recipe brings rice pudding to a whole new level. Definately no where near the the gloppy stuff from the grocery store. I used 1/2 and 1/2, since I had some left over from another recipe and it was so good and rich! However, I have also made it with 2% milk and it was still a winner.

Artichoke Bruschetta

Soooo good! I just made them and my husband and I ate them all up for lunch. I added a bit of tomato. I don't think you have to add it, but it was a nice touch. These will be great for the holidays! You could make up the topping ahead of time and preslice the bread and keep in a ziploc bag. So then putting them together with guests there would be a snap!

Honey-Mustard Baked Chicken

Very yummy! I thought it would be kind annoying to have to baste every 15 minutes. But I just set my timer to help me remember. Otherwise, it is a very simple recipe. The flavor is subtle and delicious! I really liked it leftover and cut up in a tossed salad.

Very good. I wanted a change from the package mix. This taste so much fresher and less salty.

The filling was delicious! I opted to spray them with non-stick spray and bake them. Not really a good idea. They were too dry. Next time I will cook them in oil. Goes great with Amy's Cilantro Sauce. Yum

Cream Cheese Blueberry Pie

Wow, what a awesome pie! I used fresh blueberries the roll out pie crust. It was a cinch to make. The only thing is that it took a while for the blueberries to cool to add them to the pie. I was just impatient. My husband loved it and told me this was a keeper! We can't wait to have another piece after dinner tonight. I would definately make this again, and for company too. It would definately impress. Yummy! update 2 days later...While having another piece of pie my husband said this was the best pie I ever, ever, ever made. We've been married for 16 years and I have made alot of good pies.

Barbequed Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
I added this recipe to my box 6 weeks ago and have already made them 4 times! Infact, I have some in the oven right now. The ONLY drawback is the time involved. Although, it is not difficult at all, you need to plan ahead. But, boy are they worth the wait!!! This batch was at the request of my husband for his birthday dinner tomorrow. The smell of the sauce cooking on the stove is pure heaven and there is no better sauce! Try them...you will LOVE them.

Classic Pear Crisp

Very good recipe. I added a couple of apples to make a total of 8 cups of fruit. The next time I think I would only use 6 cups of fruit. It was too much fruit and took about 30 minutes longer to cook than the recipe indicated. But the crust was perfect and the seasoning was just right.

I only found this recipe 2 weeks ago and have made it 3 times already. It is quick, easy and very impressive as a dessert. My husband LOVED it and he isn't really crazy about bananas. I used coconut rum and pecans in mine. Simply devine!

Cheeseburger Soup III

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
I came looking for a good soup recipe based on the Velveeta I had in my pantry. This did not let us down. I just happen to have a Anaheim pepper in my veggie drawer and used that instead of the jalepeno. I followed everything else to the "T" and it was delicious! I did find that the potato mixture cooked faster than 20 minutes,so watch it. I will definately make this again! One more thing...we threw a few corn chips on it for some crunch...and yummy!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
A few reviews said that you have to make another batch right away. It is so true! My husband went crazy for them! I am not such a big ginger fan, but these are fantastic. I did add more ginger as some suggested. I didn't have any clove, not sure they needed it. Thanks so much for this awesome recipe!

Jamie's Minestrone

What a wonderful soup! It makes alot more than 8 servings. The grocery store forgot to put my spinach in the bag, so I didn't put that in my soup. It was still delicious. Otherwise, I followed the recipe to a "T". This will become part of my tried and true recipes and I will be making it many, many more times!
