Sausage Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2011
This was really good! Cooked sausage out of casings.... added broccoli and fresh spinach. Kids loved it and it was even better the next day for lunch. Thank you!

Easy and Delicious Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
My husband cleaned the plate. I used chicken tenders, because that is what I had, and seasoned them with salt and pepper before browning them. I added garlic to the onions and celery 30 seconds before adding the cream soup (which was celery and mushroom with garlic, which is what I had) and chicken stock instead of water. As other reviewers suggested, I used 3/4 cup rice and baked for an hour. It was very good with a nice gravy left over. My 4 yr old was very happy with it. It was a bit rich, and next time I think I will see how I can add some vegies to get those in as well. Thank you!

Lemon Pepper Green Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
THANK YOU for this recipe... it is a weekly dish in our home. Because I have two under the age of three, I use McCormick lemon & herb seasoning in place of the lemon pepper. There are never leftovers and guests always ask how I did it. I thought this was a website to exchange recipes.... not only for originals but ones used everyday. Unlike other reviewers, I don't use a cookbook... this is my cookbook.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
I will add one more comment but it really doesn't need it. I love this recipe... my whole family has seconds, even my 2 year old. I have altered it slightly by using a costco precooked chicken, carrots, celery, black beans and two cans of chicken broth (no water). I look in the pantry to see what kind of tomatoes I have on hand and use 1/2 tsp of cummin (because of the little ones) and skip the chilli pepper. It has a mild enough spice and I put hot sauce on the table for anyone needing more kick. I have served it to guests and it has always been a winner. THANK YOU!
