Shrimp and Mushroom Linguini with Creamy Cheese Herb Sauce

I wasn't sure about basil in this dish, but it was good. I used an assortment of crimini, shitake and oyster mushrooms. This sauce thickens quite a bit once it begins to cool so make sure it is a bit thinner than you think it should be before putting it over the pasta. Wonderful dish :D

Pecan Pie Bars I

After reviewing others comments, I too changed the serving size to 24; using 3 eggs. In addition I used 1/2 c white sugar and 1/2 c brown sugar for the filling. I used real butter throughout the recipe :) Thank you Marieta, I will add this to my regular collection of treats!

Grandma's Applesauce Cake

Yummy! The aroma filled the house. Perfect for a chilly Michigan Evening. We used icing flavored with a splash of Kahlua and Espresso :D

Gary's Stuffed Mushrooms

These are the best... as I found out several years ago. This is the recipe I still use Thank You (to your) cousin Gary :D Oh sometimes I add a small amount of finely shredded mozz cheese to the mix before stuffing .. BUT I LOVE CHEESE

Broccoli Fish Bake

Turned out great for me! I used cream of chix soup, and had broccoli/cauliflower mix, garlic+pepper w/ extra milk to the soup mix, lemon pepper on the fish .. I'm sure I intentionally added more Cheese :D

Delicious :D Some times I'll make 2 qt or a gal at a time and will vary the flavor with adding 1 tsp of vanilla along with 1/2 tsp almond extract Yummmm

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Love It. I have made this countless times, I like cutting the strawberries in small cubes and saving the best to slice to put on top for presentation (cuts easier) I agree with all other, don't over cook the pretzel crust, it will be too hard to cut ;)

Super Sausage Gravy

Was very good. I increased the flour some, added a little seasoning. The family likes less of a meaty gravy. We had to had plenty of extra milk to the leftovers when we re-heated them. (We made a doubled recipe)

Breakfast Pies

The flavor was good, they were a little too dry and somewhat tough on the biscuit bottom for us. If I make these again I will try using crossiant rolls instead of biscuits. I also used green onions instead of a regular onion.

Blueberry Buckle

The whole family loved this recipe!! I did use extra blueberries :)), the only thing I really changed as a personal preference was using 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar, but not more than the amount of sugar the recipe lists.The texture was great; most importantly is was... Delicious!! ( 10/09/2010 We are still enjoying this awesome recipe Thanks Again :D)

Stuffed Jalapenos III

I found this recipe May 2006! I can't count how many times I've made these. The family absolutely loves them! I don't bother whipping the cream cheese, just use a butter knife and cut the block into strips to fit the size jalapeno you have ;) They come out perfectly every time. I also think that 45 minutes is way too long. I only need 20 - 30 depending on the size, and the bacon is crisp.
