Roasted Beets and Sauteed Beet Greens

I wanted to try cooking beets that I got at my local farmer's market. I don't know if I did something wrong, but these tasted like dirt. They were so bad I couldn't eat them and that rarely happens!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

This is a great recipe! I have made it over and over again, and it is a crowd pleaser! I use Corky's BBQ sauce. I serve it with tortilla chips and white cheese dip for very tasty BBQ nachos.

Very thick and fluffy! I used half apple sauce & half canola oil to fill 1/4 cup instead of butter, oats instead of wheat germ, and soy milk instead of buttermilk. Added a few tbsp of flax seed. Amazing with blueberry sauce!
