I was very impressed with how good this is and how easy it was to make. I made it for an early Valentine's dinner and it was very good. I had to use panko crumbs instead of fresh bread crumbs because it was what I had, but it tasted wonderful and the crumbs were very crispy.

Crawfish Chowder

This is a very good recipe. Instead of crawfish, as they can be hard to find sometimes, I used a mixture of shrimp and crab meat. It makes a very creamy, tasty chowder.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Very good. Has a great flavor and can be adjusted to taste easily by changing the type of sausage or the spice. Loved it!

Costas French Market Doughnuts (Beignets)

My boyfriend is from New Orleans area, and has had Cafe Du Monde beignets several times. He absolutely loved this! He said it tastes very close to that recipe and all he needed was some cafe au lait and life would be very good! As is the recipe makes a TON of dough so if you are only looking for a few beignets, use the recipe adjuster to make less. Really very good!

Quick Hoppin' John Soup

I thought this was excellent, and I hate black eyed peas. I made this for my boyfriend for New Year's because its his tradition, and I really liked it myself. It was very easy and quick to make, and it had a great flavor. I did change one thing, and that was to use 1 can of regular petite diced tomatoes and 1 can of green pepper, onion, and diced tomato mix. The broth of the soup was so tasty! Overall a very good recipe!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

A really easy, very delicious cake. I don't like coffee, but this is very good. Everyone loves this. I followed others suggestions and upped the coffee. Thanks for a great cake recipe!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Wow. This was amazing!!!! This was my first cheesecake attempt and it turned out perfectly. I followed instructions exactly, except for the crust (followed Sciota's crust idea)and it couldn't have turned out better! Mine did not crack, so I think the not over-mixing part is very important. I made a caramel sauce from the recipe Bananas in Caramel Sauce on this site, and it was so good that there was none left in less than ten minutes! Everyone at the party loved this and raved!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

This was so simple to make. I think i will try a different bbq sauce next time (used KC and it was a little too sweet) but the recipe was very easy and the meat had a good flavor.

Broiled Red Potatoes

This was incredibly easy and tasted great! I have also made a variation to this. You can make ranch broiled potatoes by substituting Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning mix for the Worcestershire, but be careful if you do this as you have to watch them to make sure they don't burn.
