Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
this was great! my husband and i have tried several different lasagna recipes and this is our favorite thus far. it was not dry or too meaty or anything. i despise cottage cheese, so the only change we made was using ricotta instead. we will make this again.

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
these were really good. we took them to our friends' house for our weekly get together and everyone loved them. my husband dabbed out a bit of the excess oil before we cooked them... and as recommended by others, we baked them upside down first. a great snack. we will definitely make these again soon.

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2007
this tasted pretty good... the only thing is that i would like the taste to be stronger... if i make it again, i will take an earlier reviewer's recommendation and wrap it in foil with the maranade when i make it...

Cabbage Beef Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
We really enjoyed this soup. It tastes a lot like the cabbage beef soup at Shoneys restuarant. My husband had never heard of cabbage beef soup before, but he really really loved. I did add some garlic powder when frying the meat, and I also cut up some celery and dropped it in as well.

Grandma's Easy Shells

Reviewed: May 30, 2007
I usually love cheesy dishes, but I did not care for this one... I added extra cheese and doubled the amount of pasta, but the tomato taste was just too overwhelming... my husband, who usually finishes off everything, did not want seconds... if I try it again, I will probably use a different soup as my base...

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
This is really easy and it tastes like a corndog. i only made this recipe because im broke and have been making a lot of cheap dishes lately. With that said, I say spend an extra 65 cents and throw in an extra can of baked beans... without it, the meat to bean ratio is a bit overwhelming. this would be good for a barbecue or an outside covered dish party or if you are entertaining a bunch of five year olds or men who like corndogs.

Easy Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 21, 2007
This was pretty easy to make, but i added a few things to make it more flavorful... i used way more parmesean than the recipe calls for, and i sliced some black and green olives too... i also added some zesty garlic italian dressing, but found that i liked adding it just before serving the dish... pretty good!

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: May 21, 2007
This was actually pretty good... its kind of heavy though, so maybe save it for a friday or saturday night when you can vegetate afterwards... :-) after reading a bunch of reviews, i decided to add a can of corn, taco seasoning with the meat, and serve with sour cream on top... also, i couldnt find the ranch style beans, so i used refried beans, and i used ground turkey for my meat... Next time i have a party i'll probably serve this with some chips and maybe some jalepenos and black olives... good stuff
