Slow Cooker Cassoulet
I followed this recipe exactly, except for omiting the salt and for adding 1 chicken bullion cube into it. It disolved nicely and it added the salt the recipe called for. I served it with honey brandied baby carrots and homemade fruit cocktail along with french bread and honey butter. My girlfriend's family loved it, and it was a easy menu to do buffet style, informal, yet understated elegance.

Pork Marsala
It is a great versitle recipe. However for hunters and families of hunters, many of these recipes can easily be adapted to game. They also can be tasty. I made it with venision chops. The sauce complimented any game flavor. I served it with a barley pilaf and a honey tossed fruit and berry salad. The presentation was great.

Honey Mustard Beer Brats
Because of my work schedule, I grill marked the brats on my grill the day before, for just a few minutes. I did make the recipe the following day, per directions and it turned out great. I did use more beer than required, but beer can be good. I will absolutly prepare this again, in the fall for Monday night football, so it is ready when I come home from work and the game is about to start. (side note: for all of you bear and packer fans out there, GO VIKINGS!!)
