Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
My mom used to make these when I was little. I agree with the other reviewer who says to use a bag of chocolate chips and a bag of butterscotch for the topping. These are sweet and delicious!

Pro Ganache

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
This was easy and very professional looking. It tasted like the inside of a truffle and got rave reviews. I followed the directions exactly and chilled the ganache in the fridge. I took the ganache out of the fridge and when it was close to room temperature, I spread it across the chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake I'd made earlier in the day. Delicious!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
A really great recipe! I used chocolate graham crackers and doubled the raspberry sauce I made to serve over the cake after it was sliced. I also used parchment paper on the bottom of the pan and baked the cake with a water bath in the oven (not IN the water bath) and it didn't crack.

Pepperoni Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
Simple, delicious and filling. So cheap to make! I used the 3 pack frozen bread dough because it was cheaper than Pillsbury. I took the advice of another reviewer and covered the bread with foil once it was brown on top (20-30 minutes in) so it could finish baking without burning. I overstuffed mine as well and have leftover bread for my lunch today.

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
Simple to make. I boiled for 2 minutes just to be on the safe side and added an extra tbsp of cocoa. As another reviewer said, this is a forgiving recipe. Used a 1/4 cup instead of a teaspoon to make bigger cookies and ate almost all of them myself. Delicious!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
I thought Best Chocolate Chip cookies recipe on this site was the best until I tried this one. This is THE BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe. I followed the recipe almost exactly but also refrigerated the dough for a couple of hours before baking. The name says it all. I may have made these too large but I got just a baker's dozen. I will only use this chocolate chip cookie recipe from now on!

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
I used Rolos (tubes so I didn't have to do a lot of unwrapping) and put toasted pecans on half the turtles and cashews on the other half. I used the square salted pretzels. These were super easy to make and very delicious. Took them to a party and brought home an empty Tupperware. Will definitely make again!

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
Delicious. Used some of the other reviewers' suggestion. A little messy but very delicious. Better than a Reese's. Will make again!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
I did increase the flour and peanut butter as instructed by several other reviewers and the cookies were crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Perfect! Brought these to a party and everyone loved them!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
This was an easy and foolproof recipe. I had the oven turned up to 450 on accident for the first 2 hours and, though I don't recommend doing this on purpose, the turkey still turned out tender and moist.

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
Just as good as everybody said it was. So easy too. 15 people at Thanksgiving and they ate more ham than turkey.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2007
So easy and so good! The meat was extremely tender. Dressing the roast up with extra seasonings wouldn't hurt it but it was good enough on it's own.
