Joe's Incredible Bacon Pumpkin Pie
Loved this idea! I've had this recipe saved for years and haven't had the crowd to brave making it in case it didn't go over well. Made it this year at Easter, and while there were some afraid to try it, the more adventurous really enjoyed it. I cut the recipe in half to make one pie. I liked the dense filling, with the cream cheese, but I personally found this over-spiced for my tastes. I'll try it again with less pie spices. I did crumble most of the bacon inside the pie before baking, then topped with more crumbled bacon around the edges. Will try again, and serve with maple flavored whipped cream. Thanks for sharing!

Chili Chicken Stew
My husband and I really enjoyed this last night for dinner. Like another reviewer, I threw everything in the Crock Pot, then shredded the chicken and threw it back in before serving. This is more a soup than a stew, so I might do like others next time and add more cream soup and less broth if I want a stew. Added cumin, dried cilantro, basil, oregano, and garlic. Also left out the green pepper since I didn't have any.

Cooked Eggnog
Really good! I took the advice of others and doubled the nutmeg and added allspice. I also used half skim and half half and half (lots of halfs). This took quite a bit longer to cook up and thicken, but I have really heavy pans and a glass cooktop so it could have been that. Make sure to pour this thru a strainer after cooking to avoid pieces of cooked egg in your nog! Thanks for the recipe.
