Best Ever Pie Crust
i made this crust after being thoroughly disappointed with the crust from the grocery store. i live in switzerland and after having had the ready-made crusts in the US it was not the same taste or consistency i had hoped for. that said this recipe is pretty good. i used half&half-butter and shortening. i think i will try 3/4 butter and 1/4 shortening next time. it just didn't have the buttery flavor i was looking for. i used it for ham and cheese quiche.

Famous Chicken Adobo
This is a very easy dish. You don't even really have to brown the chicken if you don't want to. It just looks better with a little browning the taste is the same either way. I used a package of chicken pieces with bones. I used 10 garlic cloves smashed, chopped potatoes, and all the rest of the ingredients in the pot all at once. Then cook as the recipe states. It is even better the next day. My husband who has never had this before loved it!

American Lasagna
I used this recipe as a guideline. I used 1 1/2 cups of parmesan cheese. I like a cheesy lasagna. It turned out great and even held together a lot better than some lasagnas I've had. I also added frozen spinach to the cheese mixture and it was delicious. A very versatile recipe that can accommodate most vegetables you might want to add.
