Chorizo and Lentil Stew

Reviewed: May 11, 2008
This is so good and so simple to make. The smell is amazing when cooking. I made it as written and it was very good. Second time I added a 2 tablespoon of tomato paste and used chicken stock instead of water and it was even better!

Maple Glazed Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
Absolutely amazing tasting ribs! I made these for a family get together (doubled the recipe) and there were no left overs. The recipe is alittle on the sweet side due to the maple syrup, but the curry compliments the sweetness. The taste is to die for!

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
This is the best recipe I have found on this site...period. Takes some time to prepare, but well worth the effort. The only change I made was substituting onions for shallots and adding Shiitake mushrooms for more body in the broth. It's a crowd pleaser and a restuarant quality recipe. Highest recommendation!

Feta Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Breasts

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
Excellent! I am partial to Mediterranean foods, so this rated high for me. The only change I made was using a Greek seasoning mix instead of just oregano. Will definitely be making this again!

Very tasty marinade that is very simple to make. My wife loved these and my asked for more (even my fussy eater). Definite keeper recipe.

Eggless Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
Excellent recipe! I halve the sugar in the sweet potato mixture as the topping is plenty sweet (and very good!). It smells incredible as it's cooking and always a hit well I make it. Makes a great Thanksgiving or Christmas side dish.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
these are good... really good! They are nearly identical to Cinnabon and the smell is amazing when they are cooking. The icing makes these extra good. Easy 5 star recommendation.

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
Excellent fresh flavors! Cannot bring myself to eat cooked or bottled/canned salsa anymore... this is so much better. I usually reduce the chuck size by mixing in a food processor very sparingly. A little work but very worth the effort. Don't forget to chill in the fridge for 20-30 min as it really helps to marry the flavors together.

Authentic Kicked-Up Syrian Hummus

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
Best hummus I have ever tasted let alone made! Excellent as is but for a little variation I add chipotle chili peppers and roasted red peppers... really takes this to the next level. I also increase the amount of garlic as roasting the garlic first really tames the flavour. This has become a staple food item in my home, easy to make and so delicious!

Feta Pesto

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
Very, very good tasting recipe. Don't forget to add garlic (I usually add to taste as I love my garlic!). This goes well over pasta, on pizza, or as a dip for bread. The feta imparts some saltiness to the dish so check before you season with more salt. All in all a fantastic dish!

Butternut Squash Soup with a Kick

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
Very tasty! As others have done, I roasted the squash instead of boiling. Very good as is, but even better with some curry powder or cumin added.

Sweet and Sour Pork III

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2007
Very good recipe. Tasted pretty close to the good pork dishes I've had at my favorite Chinese food restaurant. Will definitely make again.
