Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2012
This marinade is delicious! Made both chicken and beef kabobs for a bbq and got many compliments! I too kept the veggies and meat marinating in separate bags for over 24 hours.

P.J.'s Fresh Corn Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
So yummy and refreshing! I have made this twice now and the only change I've made is that I didn't have any red bell peppers. The combination of veggies is wonderful for a quick summer salad.

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
These were delicious! Truly tastes like apple pie. However, I only gave 4 stars because there is WAY TOO MUCH BUTTER. You could easily half the butter, sugar, cinnamon mixture and be just fine, as well as only using 1/2 can of soda. I will definitely make these again because they are so easy and taste sooo good!

Cookie-Crusted Peach Cobbler

If you like peaches and sugar cookies this is a perfect combination for a cobbler! It is very sweet and very easy to make. It takes less than 10 minutes to put together.

Garlic Cheese Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
Excellent and so easy! The only change I made was that I broiled the bread & spread for about 3 minutes until all the cheese had melted and looked yummy & bubbly. My husband hates mayonnaise and he didn't even notice the flavor & loved the bread!;-)

Shredded Beef for Tacos

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
This recipe was so easy! I too do not like to change the recipe, but after reading several reviews followed suit. I used Corona instead of wine and added diced green chilies for a little kick. The trick with this recipe is to let the beef marinate for as long as you can after shredding. This will allow the meat to soak up the flavor. I only gave 4 stars because it was good, but I wasn't "wowed". With that being said however I will make this again.

Chocolate Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
This cake is wonderful and so easy to make! After reading several reviews from this recipe and similar ones I made the following changes and it turned out perfect! I used normal honey graham crackers and used Cheesecake flavored pudding instead of vanilla for more of a rich flavor. I let it sit overnight and the layering turned out perfect. It wasn't messy at all when serving and truly tasted like a chocolate eclair! Will definitely make again and again.

Sun-Dried Tomato Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
Very good! Very Easy! I too used 1/3 cup of tomatoes and only half of the garlic and it turned out perfect. Made this for a baby shower and there was only a little leftover. Will definitely make again!

Sparkling Punch

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
Very good & refreshing! Great punch for a hot day. The only change I made was that I didn't like the idea of adding sugar to the mixture. So instead I used half 7up & half club soda for the "carbonated water". Will definitely make again.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Very good. Didn't give 5 stars because it needed just a little more flavor. I might try adding a little tequila next time?! I too cooked the chicken in a slow cooker. In the morning I added all the ingredients to the crock pot and let it cook all day (around 8 hours). When I came home I took the meat out and pulled apart/shredded the meat with two forks. Returned the meat to the cooker and let it marinate/sit until it was time to serve. Prior to serving I drained off the excess liquid. This was served to 12 women with all the taco fixings and it was a bit hit.

Two Layer Greek Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
This was very good! I too used sour cream to avoid the watery mess others had encountered. I combined the bottom layer ingredients and let them sit overnight. Didn't have to drain any excess water the next day. I recommend finely chopping the vegetables and using larger pieces of pita. My veggies were a bit too big for the wedges of pita I had cut, but it was very good nonetheless. Great recipe and will definately make again!

Chicken Teriyaki - It's a Secret

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
The flavor was great and we didn't think it was too salty. Chicken was very moist. Tried adding flour to the marinade as suggested by another reviewer but after baking the chicken it made the marinade into a pasty coat. My husband scraped it off but liked the flavor anyways. Will try again without adding the flour.

Spiced Chicken Loaf

Tasty and my picky husband even liked it. I gave it four stars because mine came out a little dry. Should have removed from oven 8-10 minutes after turning oven off.

Very good! I used red potatoes (what was left in the pantry) and added a little seasoning salt too. They ended up perfectly seasoned and following the recipe exactly.

Cheesecake Cookie Cups

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
Very easy to make! As suggested I only initially cooked the cookies for 8 minutes, but they could have gone for around 10 to firm up a little more. Very good and are a hit with large groups!
