French Toast Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2012
Just finished eating this and it was outstanding!! I actually cooked half the blueberries with the bread for 4o mins., then added the other half on top for the last 10 mins. Purely scrumptious! Followed the recipe to a "T" otherwise, and finished with a drizzle of syrup. All thumbs up from the family! Thanks for a great recipe!!

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
This was outstanding!! My 11 year old daughter made it for her first pie attempt, and we were not disappointed. I did take over the lime-squeezing for her...she was standing there for an hour with those little things, doing them by hand!! AND we used a homemade sweetened condensed milk. Worthy of more than 5 stars!!

Sweetened Condensed Milk

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
This was amazingly easy and soooo good! Why 4 stars? It was a little grainy and it stayed that way until we used it a key lime pie recipe. But it was delicious, and when you don't have that canned stuff on hand, give this a try!! Perhaps there is another method to dissolve those granules?

WOW!! this recipe is OUTSTANDING!!! Even my picky DH and girls were coming back for seconds!! Tweaked, as usual, with a cup more of smart alecness, but otherwise kept the recipe the same! Did anyone see the plate it came in on?!?!

Perfect Cheesecake Everytime

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
This was simply the BEST and easiest cheesecake I have ever made!! I always make NY style, and thought that was the end all to be all UNTIL I was recommended this one!! To die for! Didn't change a thing, except that I baked it for 45 mins. and then shut the oven off and let it sit overnight! Made some strawberries and glaze to top it off with whipped cream, and VOILA!!! Perfection! Thanks Cheesecakemama! You truly live up to your name!

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Very good! Cut back on the sugar a touch, and no poppy seeds on hand, but didn't miss them. I served this on pulled pork sandwiches, a BIG hit!!

This chicken was OUTSTANDING!!! Rave reviews by all, and lots of "when can we have this again?" comments! The only thing I didn't have was the pimentos, so I sauteed some mushrooms and threw them in.....WHOA NELLY!! I couldn't get enough!! Thanks so much for an absolutely brilliant recipe!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
I'd give this 10 stars if I could!! OUTSTANDING!! It just doesn't get any better than this! I did add the peanuts and pecans, as well, cuz I'm crazy about nuts!! I found that 2 bags of microwave popcorn was the perfect amount for this recipe. I just could not stop eating this! Perfect snack, but VERY addictive and got RAVE reviews by all!! Thanks so much!

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
Thsi was very good, but my family hated it. I LOVED it so my review stands!! I hate fish sauce so I left it out, and added fresh lime juice at the end. A touch too much sugar, I think, could've used maybe 2 Tbsp. not 1/4 cup. My daughter wouldn't eat it because it was too sweet. All in all, a nice recipe!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
These were very good! Couldn't find Bibb lettuce so I had to use iceberg, but followed the recipe as stated. Good flavor, nice crunch after I added soem shredded cabbage and carrots. Next time I will add some roasted peanuts for another dimension of crunch and flavor!

Original Irish Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
Really good!! I followed some other reviewer's advice and used 1/2 and 1/2 and I don't care for almond extract, so I omitted that. My 11 year old daughter makes this all the time for our family.....(she wants to be a chef!) so I supervise and she does a great job!! No need to judge.....LOL! Great recipe, very tasty and so cheap to make! Thanks for a fantastic post!

I had never heard of these before, but wanted to give them a try.....glad I did!! They were so good, I followed recipe exactly and then after dipping in chocolate, I rolled half of them in toasted pecans, and some in chopped peanuts. Both were a big hit! Thanks so much!

Baked Brie with Caramelized Onions

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2011
This was OUTSTANDING!! Made for NYE and it was a big hit! Omitted the apples (had none!) and had to use crescent roll dough. But I did cut the brie round in half horizontally and placed the onions and garlic on half, then topped with the other half. Wrapped tightly with the dough and baked for 20 mins. Perfect!! A great appy with crackers! Would have loved to have served it with jalapeno jelly, but didn't have that either! Thanks for a great post!

Oatmeal Carmelitas

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
I just finished making these and they are truly 5 star!! Made exactly as written, 9 by 9 pan, I can see actually how this would serve 36...I had one small decadent square and it was outstanding! I would maybe add MORE nuts, but that's because I am a nut fanatic! Absolutely delicious and worthy of a 5 star rating!! Thanks so much for the great recipe!
