This is Me!
About this Cook
Well I'm a married mother of two beautiful children, Seamus 6 and Mariah 3 months. Cooking is my passion and I usually don't follow recipes to the T I usually love to experiment. I also love reading, walking, talking, shopping and playing with my kids. I started cooking when I was 7, my first things ever were 1) a chocolate cake, 2) scrambled eggs and 3) a roast chicken
My favorite things to cook
I definitely love baking cakes, making desserts, and dinner. Not too huge on breakfast cooking (would be if I could be bothered!) but love food so I am always willing to learn new things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well I love to do roasts of any kind, but have one stipulation in all of my main meal cooking ; PLENTY of vegies! So I'm always looking for innovative ways and combinations to cook meals and vegetables! I also love baking cakes and love decadent desserts!
My cooking triumphs
Well whenever I go all out to cook awesome meals with all the trimmings, it's always a triumph. Unfortunately with a little one I'm usually so busy it's only something quick these days but it's ok, my husband loves cooking too(he's a lovely cook, too!) so we share the duties.
My cooking tragedies
When I was younger I had a few disastrous cake mistakes hehe also one distinct tragedy from early 2006 it was "chicken in plum sauce" but ended up being a purple ugly and not very yummy concoction that people ate out of politeness!

Condensed Milk Chocolate Frosting
This was absolutely delicious but I found that it was just too messy. Once I let it cool down it was virtually impossible to spread without making a huge mess so I heated it up again and just poured it over my cake. So delicious though!!!!! Maybe a little too sweet so have a glass of milk on hand to drink with it!
