Sweet Onion Broccoli Cornbread

Excellent side dish. Very addicting! I use a different recipe, same ingredients but mine says to melt the butter in the pan and then add the corn bread/ onion/broccoli mixture without mixing in the butter. Creates a nice crust...so yummy!

Rory's Most Wonderful Corn Bread

This is addicting. I have another recipe I use, same ingredients but you don't mix in the butter. You melt it in the pan then pour in the corn bread mixture. It creates and nice crust on the corn bread. Yum!

White Almond Wedding Cake

Great recipe for a stacked cake. I made a tiered cake for my in-laws 50th anniversary using this recipe. It turned out beautifully. I filled with raspberry cake filling and iced with butter cream frosting. Very yummy.

Hot Pizza Dip

Took this camping this weekend. Everyone loved it. I felt it was missing something, garlic maybe. I added crushed red pepper flakes to the top since we like our pizza spicy.

Pat's Baked Beans

Took these beans on our latest camping trip. Everyone absolutely loved them. I'll be making these for years to come. I left out the red kidneys and the garbanzos and doubled the pintos and great northerns. Also, used BBQ sauce instead of ketchup and spicy mustard, just what I happened to have on hand. Thanks for an excellent recipe.

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

Very cute, tasty and easy. Everyone loves them. I made them with hugs and caramel kisses and waffle pretzels. My mother-in-law had to have the recipe to make as gifts.

Country Apple Dumplings

WOW! These are absolutely amazing! I didn't have any Mountain Dew soda (bought it for this recipe and the kids got to it before I had a chance to make these) so I substituted cran-raspberry juice mixed with a tablespoon of lemon juice. Made again a few nights later and used a can of Sunkist mandarin orange soda. Both were wonderful. I guess I'll have to try it sometime using Mountain Dew:) CRAZY GOOD with vanilla ice cream!

Kolaches II

Sorry. These were like biscuits with jelly in the middle. Not at all like the kolaches we were looking for. The kolaches we have had are more like a roll or donut dough. Followed the recipe exactly as written. Will try another recipe.
