Turkey Veggie Meatloaf Cups

Grandslam with this one Amy! Everyone in my family loved it! I will make add this recipe to the roundup! Only thing I might do differently next time is to make it in one loaf instead of mini cups, I like to keep the dishes to a minimum! Other than that I highly recommend to all. TY

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
This was really a great recipe! Everyone loved it especially me because not only was it delicious, it was quick and easy and you only dirty up one pot! I did change one thing though I used dry mustard instead of the dijon. This is just a taste preference for me since I had tried it in other mac and cheese recipes. I will keep this recipe! Bravo!

Chicken Stuff

I like this a lot as a base casserole. I can't help it, I need veggies and some seasonings. So any frozen veggie will work but we like mushrooms and peas or broccoli and cheese. Good for a busy weeknight !

Wow Ruth! Super easy and so delicious, what more could a gal want? Did not add anything or change anything, but I can see using this as a base for tuna or salmon. Thanks for sharing.

Flat Iron Steak with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
My family just devoured this meal, not a drop left in the pan! I did cut back on the balsamic to 1/8 cup and I added more wine and used 1/2 teaspoon of 'Better than Bullion' to the sauce. I left my steak whole and cooked it about 5-8 min. longer in the oven. I then sliced with my electric knife and served on egg noodles. So easy to make. Will do again and again!

Creamed Spinach II

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
liked this one a lot! But, I must admit that I am a garlic freak and added garlic and onion to butter and sauted then I added a little cream cheese ( 2oz.) but I dont think this recipe needed the cream cheese. I also used fresh spinach and steamed it for 3 min.--big difference in flavor!

Korean Spicy Chicken Tenders with Sweet Apple

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
We really loved this recipe and will have this again and again. I must admit that I did not have the Korean pepper paste but I think the chile paste is a close match. NO lemon pepper either, but I put in a little grated lemon peel instead. Doubled the recipe for four, and served with lemon fried rice from this sight--great match. Thanks for sharing this one.

Brussels Sprouts with Grapes

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2010
Very delicious, we all loved it. Next time, I will not cook the sprouts so long in boiling water. If I use fresh sprouts I might even consider bypassing the boiling water part, I like my sprouts with a little crunch.

Zucchini Brownies

These were pretty good especially on day 2. Around day four they started to lose their shape when handled. A great way to use up your zucchini just make sure you drain the shredded zucchini.

Barbecue Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
This was really fabulous, everyone including picky eaters loved it!I cooked the roast in a crock pot from frozen on high for approx. 5 hours and then lowered to the low setting while I prepared the sauce. I was forced to change some ingredients since I live in the country and can't run to the store quickly, I used a combo of tomato ketchup and cocktail sauce to replace the chili sauce, but they interchange well and all in all I don't think this changed the recipe by very much. Since the cocktail sauce has horseradish in it I omitted the cayenne pepper. Also, I couldn't bear to have all that juice from the roast go to waste so instead of water I used the broth. Thank you for this delicious recipe.

Banana Cranberry Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
Wow! these were very impressive, really good for those times you have company for breakfast. I have to admit that I changed a few things for health reasons but I am very sure these changes did not compromise the recipe at all. I use half apple sauce and half butter for the shortening, used 1 cup whole wheat in place of white. Like another reviewer I also stock up on cranberries when they are on sale they freeze very well. Also, I save the cranberry syrup left over from boiling and use in sweet and sour sauce. Thank you for sharing!
