Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
These turned out excellent! They did not spread at all, and kept their shape. I ended up with 15 big cookies. I used a variety of chips only because I had a few half used bags hanging out in the pantry. I'm not sure it was necessary, but I put the dough in the fridge for an hour before I baked them for 15 min. They look impressive. Can't wait for the kiddos to try them tomorrow on Thanksgiving!

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds with Sugar and Spice

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2013
This was the best batch of pumpkin seeds I ever made. They ended up perfectly coated, and a great balance of sugar, spice and saltiness. I did add a tbsp of butter to the oil and sugar, because it just didn't seem like it was coming together correctly. Perhaps it would have if I waited long enough. It appears that other reviewers had issue with this step as well.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
This is my first fruit pie and I am so impressed! The recipe is awesome. I did add cinnamon to the apples before I poured 3/4 of the sauce over them as others suggested but other than that I followed the recipe exactly. It presents nicely and tastes great!!!!! Thank you for a great recipe that made my first pie venture a success.

Smothered Mexican Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2007
I totally changed this recipe. The changes I made were.... I toasted my tortillas until golden brown, used 1 can of Rotel tomatoes (diced tomatoes and chiles), added cumin, paprika, pepper and garlic powder to the ricotta and no water! My husband loved it and I had seconds but I still think it needs something. Next time I will add tomato paste to the meat mix.
