Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Easy Vegetable Pot Pie

Easy, inexpensive, comforting warm meal! We loved it! The husband of course requested I add some chicken next time but I loved it with just the veggies myself. This is a keeper and definitely part of my winter comfort food rotation.

Fifteen Minute Chicken Chili

I loved this! I added some additional seasonings and some heavy cream at the end for a creamier chili. It was MUCH better the second day. I'll definitely make this again sometime this coming winter. I'd probably add a can of rotel next time as well for a bit more spice.

Spinach Enchiladas

While we enjoyed this, it was a bit too much like manicotti for me. It just wasn't as "mexican" I think for me as I wanted it to me. It was good, just not what I expected.

Blackberry Cobbler

I've used this recipe twice now. I love it! I made it once using frozen blackberries I had on hand and tonight with some canned pineapple chunks tossed in some brown sugar. This one turned out like a upside down pineapple cake version of it. YUM!

Mock Chicken Fried Steak

The family loved this! Even our 3 year old! It's definitely a keeper. My husband said "It will keep husbands happy. That's man food!" lol. I didn't use the chili powder but rather some onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper instead.

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Very good! My family really enjoyed these. I also added 1 tsp of vanilla. I skipped the butterscotch chips and added 1 C of raisins instead. This is definitely a keeper.
