Antipasto Pasta Salad

This makes a ton but it is so good! It gets even better the next day. The dressing is awesome. You can do so much with the ingredients to suit your own tastes. I like using San Georgio Trio Italiano pasta. I get requests for this all the time. Great recipe!

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

Anytime you cook the meat in your sauce, whether it's sausage or meatballs, it always tastes better. The meatballs or sausage absorb the flavors of the sauce and vice versa. I always cook italian sausage this way, but haven't tried meatballs yet. Great recipe. Thanks for the idea!

Lemon Cake

This cake is awesome! I didn't feel like buying the lemon extract so I reversed the flavors. I used a lemon cake mix with vanilla pudding and lemon pudding with cool whip for the icing. Thanks!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

These ARE the best ever! I made cookies all day and mixed these up last. Fearing I would be too tired to get them to come out right, I refrigerated the dough overnight and rolled them out the next morning. Baked them for 8 minutes and they were perfect. Thanks!

Monster Cookies VI

These cookies are awesome and makes a lot too! Made these for a bonfire this past weekend and of all the desserts I had, there were very few of these left. After I measured the peanut butter out of a new jar, there wasn't much left, so I ended up scraping the rest (small jar) into the bowl. I used chunky too. They're best if you don't over-bake them but just as good if you do!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

This recipe kept popping up in my e-mail (why so often?) so I thought it must be good. I was wrong. I made it exactly as the recipe stated and it just was not that good. All I could taste was the vinegar! I should have cooked the pork with sauerkraut instead of wasting a good piece of meat. I have never found a recipe on here that I gave a bad review to. This is my first. Sorry.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Last year I did a "test run" on this first and it was really good. So I made it for a Halloween bonfire and it was a hit. I did add kidney beans and more to kick it up a notch. It was something different and I'll probably make it again this year.

Swamp Frog

Made this as directed, but I used vodka, added neon green food coloring, and floated frozen hands in the punch bowl. It looked like nuclear waste. Everyone loved it. Gave you a good kick too!

Bubba's Jambalaya

This was really easy and good! I omitted the bacon and sauteed the chicken, then sausage, in a little oil, then removed. I added more peppers (2) than called for then added back the chicken & sausage and rest of ingredients. (Didn't have shrimp but will next time for sure). It was a big hit. Thanks Bubba!

Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

Absolutely the best, better than any soup in a can! I have been making this recipe for several years. We are always bombarded with tomatoes, so I can it so we can eat it year-round. The whole cloves give the soup just the right flavor. (The cloves in the recipe refer to the spice, not garlic cloves). Why would you put garlic in tomato soup? Thanks for a great recipe.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

Not sure if I did something to screw this up or what. The pan (9x13 right?) seemed too large for the amount of batter I had. Made it tough to spread the second layer over the filling. It didn't bake up too high, but it still tasted great. Doubled the filling like others have said, but had too much left in the end. Maybe I was having an "off" day! Will give it a try again.
