Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
I loved this recipe. I didnt feel like waiting on it in the slowcooker, so I browned the meat on both side in the skillet, then I placed it on a cookie sheet in the oven on 375 for 20 min. In the skillet where I browned my meat, I added the can cream and chicken, and broth (instead of packet dry au jus mix & water) and simmered until meat was cooked. Then I placed the meat back in the skillet to get it covered in the gravy. I served with green beans and rotini noodles. Only thing I suggest is doubling the sauce. Awesome recipe.

Chocolate Cookie Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
I used to frost "Big Soft Ginger Cookies" from this site. I'm going to use it to frost a cake this weekend. This is my favorite buttercream frosting and will be a staple in my kitchen.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These cookies were amazing!!! I took them to work and everyone raved about them. I frosted them with "Chocolate Cookie Buttercream Frosting" from this website (which you can use without adding the cocoa powder). I wish I could give this ten stars.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
Excellent!!!! However, I didn't use the canned frosting; I used BaysChick chocolate sauce recipe. Make sure you let the dessert sit in the refrigerator for a couple hours until the sauce hardens. I made it at night, popped it in the fridge, and it was dessert the next night. Talk about amazing!

Banana Banana Bread

I added one teaspoon of vanilla and 1/4 more butter. However, the recipe didn't need any changes, just personal preferences. Excellent recipe Shelley!

I didn't have any butterscotch pudding, so I used two packs of vanilla. Also, I used milk instead of water. Excellent recipe Janis!

Caramel Frosting V

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
OMG! I have tried so many caramel frosting recipes and they never worked. This one is the best ever! The key to getting the right consistency is to let it sit for at least 1 1/2 in the refridgerator, without stirring, after you add the butter. *UPDATE*- If you dont need the frosting right away, make it a night, put a lid on the pot and let it sit over night. When you get up in the morning, the frosting has the perfect consistency. I use my hand held mixer to whip the frosting right up.
