Chunky Banana Nut Chip Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
Love it! Definitely will be making this again. The honest, natural flavors are head and shoulders above the synthetic flavors found in store bought ice cream! I used 3 small over ripe bananas and almonds because that is what I had in the house.

Really loved this recipe. I ended up not even adding the evaporated milk because it was delicious without!

Becel® Garlic and Rosemary Roasted Root Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
I love this recipe and it's been a hit each time I've served it. I use what I have on hand, but love carrots, red onions and potatoes the best! Great side when the rest of dinner is in the oven.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2013
Wonderful recipe! I've made this recipe multiple times. Sometimes following the recipe to the letter, other times adding cinnamon, or vanilla or thickening the syrup. Sometimes with a lattice top, other times without. This is just such a great, flexible recipe!

Winter Market Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2011
I just love the idea of this recipe = fresh ingredients in the winter time! I didn't have any beets, so I made the recipe the first time without. The celery root is a must, I think, it adds a pepperiness that is just lovely. I thought the sauce was very sour due to equal amounts of Olive Oil and Cider Vinegar. I've made the recipe a second time and replaced the olive oil with some mayo and added less cider vinegar; the rest of the dressing I left the same. Another wonderful addition is some diced red bell pepper (in my case, instead of the beet), this adds crunch and sweetness without adding more sugar.

Carrot Casserole

I was looking for a recipe that used a lot of carrots. I don't like the taste of cooked carrots but thought that I would try it after reading the reviews. This recipe tastes great, makes a great side.

Zucchini Ranch Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 22, 2011
This recipe produces a moist loaf full of veggies and not too greasy. I added shredded carrots instead of bell peppers, and think it tastes wonderful. I also topped the meatloaf with my 'favorite' topping instead of the ketchup and steak sauce. I will definitely be making this recipe again. Thanks for sharing.

Chipotle Chile and Blue Cheese Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2013
After reading the reviews I was very curious how we would like it. And I have to say we did. I added Chipotle peppers to taste and used a mild blue cheese. Also added some flour to thicken it a bit. Definitely a recipe I will make again, but will tweak it some more to our taste. Perhaps some cheddar or gouda in addition to the blue cheese to make it a little cheesier.
