Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
Very yummy-- crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle. I halved the recipe and used my Pampered Chef 1-1/2 tsp. scooper and I ended u with 36- 2" cookies which were perfect size! I also baked at 325 for 9 minutes (or until slightly golden) and they were perfection.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Very very good. I only used 1-7.5oz. biscuit rolled out and cut into strips and it was definitely not enough for my family of 5 (making 8 servings). Added extra seasoning and frozen bag of mixed veggies and my family called this one a keeper!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
Awesome recipe-- made this twice over the past 2 days. The second time I made it I only used Parmesan cheese since I couldn't find the rest of the Romano cheese--actually liked it better. Added the whole 10oz. block of frozen spinach, added a little bit of garlic powder, used sour cream, mixed some mozzarella in with the dip and a little extra on top and it was absolutely addicting! My whole family loved this :)

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Absolutely delicious! Bought a rotisserie chicken, shredded it and that made it a lot easier. Also, doubled the butter/hot sauce mixture since I didn't think it would be enough and only used 3/4 cup of fat free bleu cheese dressing. Everyone loved it so we will definitely make again!

Mom's Best Waffles

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly and the batter turned out really thin, so I had to add about 1/4 cup more flour. In my opinion, these were bland and chewy not light and crispy. I still like Waffles I better (on this site) so I would not make these again.

Waffles I

Soo good! The waffles were crispy on the outside and light, fluffy and tender on the inside. With margarine and syrup they are absolutely delicious, but without, kind of flavorless... Next time, I will double the sugar and add a little more vanilla. Other than that, these were fantastic!

Chocolate Chip Meringue Drops

Wow.. just made these and they are already almost gone! These will definitely satisfy a chocolate craving. I used room temperature eggs and only added 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar and only 45 minutes of drying time and they were perfect. Definitely will make these again soon!

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
Amazing.. just made this for the family and they constantly raved about it the whole meal and told me I have to make it a lot from now on. I used balsamic vinegar because it compliments the strawberries exquisitely and didn't add sesame seeds or poppyseeds (didn't have any on hand) but I can't wait to try it with them. Definitely a keeper!!

Sugar Coated Pecans

Amazing recipe-- just made them for the family for Thanksgiving tomorrow, but I don't know if they will make it to then! I did the ziploc bag trick-- used 2 egg whites, 1 tablespoon vanilla in place of water, 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar and upped the cinnamon to 1 teaspoon. Try these!

Thin Mint Crackers

For the few ingredients-- these are awesome! I used low sodium ritz crackers with andes mints melted-- SO easy! I popped the baking sheets in the freezer for 10 minutes, then lined them with wax paper, light spray of pam, microwaved mints, 2 forks, and they were done, absolutely no mess at all. Next time will try with the chocolate wafers but these are pretty good =)

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2007
This was delicious!! We used almost 9 pounds of boneless pork tenderloin. We sliced an onion on the bottom of the crockpot, then slit the meat and put whole cloves of garlic throughout the meat for extra flavor. We put one more onion sliced on the top of the meat and then poured 2 cups of beef broth over. Then we covered and let it cook on high for 1 hour and a half and then rest on 7 hours on low. We used Sweet Baby Ray's sauce of course which made it absolutely delicious. Served with baked beans and corn on the cob. Perfect meal which was greatly enjoyed by everyone.. and plenty of leftovers for at least 2 different nights for 5 adults.

Oven Baked Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
Wow, this was absolutely amazing and so rich and flavorful. My mom and I made this delicious recipe without the ham, but added more chicken and andouille and it was still so good. Our family of 5 constantly raved about how amazing it was. We cooked the rice separate only because I like fluffy rice. This is definitely a keeper and I am looking forward to the next time we make it!
