About this Cook
I work in cardiology so I understand the importance of a healthy diet. My family eats a lot of chicken, fish, rice, and vegetables.
My favorite things to cook
Nothing is more satisfying than a colorful, healthy dinner, with a glass of red wine.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My friends and I have an annual Holiday Cookie Party. Over time, as we have evolved as cooks, the party has transformed from rice krispy treats and store-bought frozen dough cookies, to chocolate fountains and baklava.

Berry Almond Bars
These turned out very moist and delicious. I added some extra flour. I will add more preserves next time. I used an 8x8 pan which made the bars thicker and more cake-like.

Reshmi Kebab (Silken Kebabs)
These are just as tender and tasty as other reviewers have noted. For a little more spice I used habanero peppers instead of jalapenos. I cooked them wrapped in foil for 25-30 minutes at 350, then put them under the broiler for 3-4 minutes.

Easy Baklava
This was a great, easy dish. It looks more time consuming than it really is. It is very rich and deliciuos.
