WOW! I was amazed at how easy and how great this was! Needless to say this was an absolute hit in my family even with a picky 4 and 7 year old who hate it when mommy makes new things. Even my 7 year old was talking about it the next day and asked if he could have the leftovers for lunch. Definitly as as good as a local italian restaurant that we go to just for their alfredo. I did make a few changes. used reduced fat cream cheese (couldn't tell the diff at all) 2% milk, low fat margrine. added fresh garlic cloves to the margrine while it was melting along with green onions and mushrooms (our fav italian restaurant uses the green onion and mushroom combo and i love it) i was worried that there was not enough sauce but when i added it to the pasta it was plenty. at the very end i added some cooked chicken that i had cooked previously with olive oil and italian seasonings. YUM! will defintly make again!
