My favorite things to cook
Anything grilled and cream soup/chowders.
My favorite family cooking traditions
"Doctoring" things up.
My cooking triumphs
7 bone standing rib roast and 15 lb turkeys on the Weber
My cooking tragedies
Moved from Genesis to Summit and burned EVERYTHING for a year. Nearly lost my flock.

Very Easy Mushroom Barley Soup
I doubled the recipe; otherwise, made it verbatim. Great basic soup, I liked it a lot; make it as written with confidence. I have some changes in mind and will update this later.

Best Lemonade Ever
Perfect, when supplemented with two cups of Bombay Sapphire. Great for the kids as is.

My Navy Bean Soup
Served to a church crowd, they loved it. My only mods were to add (to a double batch) 6 larges cloves chopped garlic, and 2 tbs. of Emeril's Essence to the saute of onions and carrots. I used the stick blender just before serving to thicken it a bit. Really nice soup, will definitely make again.
