Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
This was my first attempt at toffee. I halfed the recipe in case it was terrible. I did add about 1t vanilla. I used a skillet.. it was all I had. I followed the directions to stir constantly. It turned out GREAT! I don't have a thermometer either, so I dropped a but into a glass of cold water. It set right up, so I knew it was done. It took about 10 minutes of prep and about 20 minutes in the fridge before we dove in. I am thrilled with this recipe! Thank you for a new favorite!

Aunt Mary's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
I have made this cake twice now. Both times it turned out great. I don't have sour milk, so used regular fat free. I don't think it is too sweet, but I LOVE CHOCOLATE! I serve it with seven minute frosting! YUM! Thanks for a great recipe my whole family enjoys.

Wonderful Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
WOW! Yummy! The BEST waffles we have ever had. I must admit that I put all the ingredients in one big bowl and mixed by hand. No fancy hoopla like the recipe says, and I threw out the egg whites. Oops. BUT~ they were still awesome. It took me about 1 minute to prepare the batter. That's right! And we still loved them. We sliced fresh strawberries mixed with sugar and topped with Cool whip. FANTASTICO!

JELL-O Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
Just what I remember as a child!!!! So yummy!! I used wild strawberry jello. It was so tangy and sweet. My hubby and kids ate these fast. (okay, me too!) We will for sure be making these again. We didn't add the nuts. *moisten your hands with water to make the balls. They won't stick to you that way*

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
YUMMMMMMYYYYY! I Used all natural peanut butter. The dough was way gooey, so I added about 1/2 cup of confectioners sugar. It was still a bit gooey, but I managed. I also sprinkled sugar on top of the cookies when I pulled them out of the oven. They looked great and were goobled up in a matter of minutes.

Cashew Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2007
I made it and baked it the same day. It turned out watery. The left overs the next night were much better. So, make sure to plan ahead on this one. Very tasty. My kiddos loved it too.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2007
Super easy and very delicious. I served it over three cheese spinach linguini along with a side of garlic bread. Even the kids gobbled it up. I will never buy canned Alfredo again.

YUMMY! I added 2 regular candy canes and used a food chopper. Then used some of the mashed up candy on top of the cool whip. The kids loved it. Hubby loved it more though!!!

Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting

Excellent! Wouldn't change a thing. Was creamy, yet firm enough to decorate a cake. Excellent on Graham crackers too! Thanks Rick!!
