Cathy's Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2012
I love this recipe because it is so easy and kid-friendly. I usually add some garlic powder, black pepper and parsley to the soup mix. I also very the cheese based on whatever I have on hand.

Cake Balls

These are amazing. And they look so professional. If yours come out too mushy just add some powdered sugar to get the correct consistency.

Cornbread Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
My family LOVES this recipe. I always add some pepper, parsley and garlic powder to the filling for flavor. Also, instead of a mix, I use the Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread recipe from this site for the topping. I have also used mixed veggies instead of just corn. I like that this a complete meal all in one.

Cheeseburger Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
My family and I love this recipe - with some additions. I usually add sauteed onions, 1 tsp each of garlic powder, chili powder and black pepper and 4 Tbsp of soy sauce. Very easy and quick dinner with ingredients I usually have on hand. Reheats well too.

Cake Mix Cookies VI

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
Very good. Next time I might decrease the chocolate chips to 1.5 cups. I love chocolate but some of the cookies were mostly chocolate chips and little dough.

Very tasty! The only change I made was adding another tsp. of minced garlic to the sauce.

Baked Paprika-Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
Great flavor. Prepared exactly as listed. I always fillet my chicken breasts to cut down on cooking time. Worked perfectly for 3 chicken breasts filleted.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
The whole family loved these. I used King Arthur White Whole Wheat flour. A double batch made about 24 pancakes using a scant 1/4 c of batter.

Marshmallow Fondant

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
Very good and easy to work with. Much better than the Rolled Buttercream Fondant on this site (which is greasy and falls apart). Flavor/texture is like circus peanut candies.

Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2010
Very good! Quick and easy to make! I did make some minor changes - minced garlic instead of onion, rotini instead of sea shells and shredded carrots instead of diced. I also used frozen spinach. Will definitely make again.

The whole family loved this one. I also browned the chicken in garlic and olive oil, then dipped in breadcrumbs before putting in baking dish. Added some Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese on top.

White Chocolate Pretzel Snack

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
Excellent! I made this last year for my brother and asked for more this year. I'm trying it with cashews instead of peanuts this time. Also, try breaking the pretzels in half - it makes them much easier to work with.

Savory Crescent Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Only four stars because the flavor was only OK, but has potential if altered to one's taste. I sauted the chicken with garlic, onion, and pepper. I also added some shredded cheese and Italian seasoning to the cream cheese mixture - could have used more.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Everyone loved this recipe! Instead of chicken broth, I reserved the liquid used to boil the chicken & veggies and added some chicken bouillon. Otherwise, I made it exactly as directed.

Caramel for Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
AWESOME! I didn't have heavy cream, so I tried substituting a cup of whipping cream and a cup of 2% milk. I was surprised how good this turned out! I also boiled about 15 minutes after adding the butter & cream/milk to get the right viscosity. Tastes like Werther's Original!
