Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake
I discovered this recipe several years ago and have been making it ever since. I make it about once a week now. It is truly wonderful. I use a mandolin to slice the potatoes, which saves tons of time. It's actually not at all labor intensive, though guests are always impressed by the way it looks. Not to mention its flavor... :-D

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie
Would NOT set. Cooked for an hour then let cool completely. I think there are multiple problems: 1) You need to specify whole milk. 2) Two and a half cups of milk should take at least four eggs, if not five. 3) This recipe fills two 9" crusts all the way to the brim. One? HA!

Chef John's Peanut Butter Cookies
These are super easy to make and have great peanut butter flavor. I'm not usually a big fan of peanut butter cookies, but I'm about to move, so the kitchen is a disaster zone. I do think they need a little bit of spice, just to give them more kick. As they are, the rich, strong peanut butter flavor makes them a little TOO "earthy". There's no beating the texture, though.
