Honey Coconut Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2007
It was a nice recipe but it didn't work for me. My taste buds didn't like the combination. It hid the salmon instead of working with the salmon.

Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2007
This was good. 1 note: When spreading the cream cheese make them real small pieces and disperse well. I used the black raspberry syrup leftover from the raspberry dumpling recipe on the site. Nice recipe.

Irresistible Raspberry Buttermilk Dumplings

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2007
I had never made dumplings before and really liked these. We had just gathered pick ur own black raspberries from a farm and this was a nice recipe for them. The dumplings were deliciou. My 7 year old son especially liked them. I used the leftover syrup for other things for the rest of the week. Like pancakes or a blueberry dessert and I topped it with my leftover raspberry syrup which I heated up before using. Thanks for the recipe.

Blueberry Ricotta Squares

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2007
My family and I didn't care too much for it. We all had one piece and the rest went to waste. It was dry and not very exciting.

Pink Lemonade Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2007
This is the easiest dessert I have ever made. I made it exactly as directed and put the pies in the freezer. It was deliciously tart and sweet so I cut in thin slices. Loved it. I used Margarita (frozen) instead of the lemonade and I really loved this better.

Double Chocolate Mint Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
My family loves this recipe. I altered it alittle by adding 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1 cup of swirled mint and semisweet chocolate chips and reduced the mint extract by 1/2 yielding 96 servings. They were perfect. This is a great summer recipe for chocolate in the summer.

Seven Layer Tex Mex Dip

Reviewed: May 23, 2007
This is a simple no cook recipe. Make sure the guacomole is good because it will make a difference. It was a hit at the party and I could make it somewhat in advance and not have to worry about a warm dish. Thanks for the recipe.

Ham Tetrazzini

Reviewed: May 23, 2007
This is a fast meal and kid pleaser. My son liked it more than my husband and I. I usually keep a bag of chopped ham in the freezer to make a fast meal and this recipe was a nice addition to my ham recipes. Thanks.

Sweet Potato Pie II

Reviewed: May 23, 2007
Oh My Gosh! This was the best sweet potato pie I have ever ever had. My son, my husband and I were very happy with it. Serve it warm with cool whip on top. Out of this world. I actually used a can of yams and a pilsbury pie crust. It was quick and delicious. Thank you for this recipe. It is a keeper.

Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

Reviewed: May 18, 2007
This fish was a nice change from my normal plain salmon. It was a little greasy. I will try it again with the yogurt substitute another reviewer had recommended. I enjoyed the taste of the herbs. I also agree to reduce the amount of mayo mixture. All of that mixture was unnecessary. My seven year old son enjoyed this dish as well.

Chinese Pork Ribs

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
I used shoulder pork ribs. My whole family loved this. The meat was very tender. I would save some sauce though for putting extra on the ribs when on the plate to eat. Other than that, it was easy and delicious! It's a keeper.

Easter Eggs

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
I made this recipe with Peanut butter and coconut. Coconut was the favorite. The first batch I used regular chocolate chips and the second batch I bought a better chocolate which made all the difference in the world. My Aunt had asked me to make them again next Easter but she recommended making them smaller. This was good advice.

Mincemeat Crumb Bars

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
Didn't really like it much. Each family member only ate 1/2 when I gave them a small bar of it. I froze it hoping that it might be better after it was frozen. Probably not.

Trail Bars

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
It was a good somewhat healthy snack. The extras I added were dried bluberries, dried fruit, raisins, coconut, pecans, wheat germ. I liked them all but the dried fruit. Although the dried bluberries were good in it. My family did not rave about it, but when we went hiking my 7 years old son liked it well enough. I bagged them in snack bags individually and stored them in the refrigerator for the lunchbox. They seemed to stay together better after I refrigerated them.

My favorite fish meal. I was suprised how tasty it was. My 7 year old son and husband loved it too. It is now a family favorite. I served carrot raisin salad and mashed potatoes with it. I made my own bread crumbs and added wheat germ. Fantastic! Thank you for the recipe.
