Fruit and Vegetable Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
This was amazing. i only used the sauerkraut recipe. used granny smiths. Made Knedliky from this site, and used the sauce from Easy Roasted Pork from this site. I put the prepared sauerkraut in a bowl, put the Knedliky on top and covered with the sauce from Easy Roasted Pork recipe. sliced pork roast over. We had NO leftovers. It was delicious. yes you have to use a few recipes to get this amazing dish but it was well worth it. Oh and also, in the sauerkraut, i fried bacon separately and let it crisp and then broke that up and put that in the sauerkrat also. Sorry for a long review, but this was AMAZING... THANKS EVERYONE!

Tres Leches III

PEOPLE--YOU NEED A KITCHEN AID MIXER TO MAKE THIS CAKE. And use the wisk attachment for EVERYTHING. When i alternate the flour milk mixture, i just keep the mixer pumping and i add them alternately. The whipped topping, i suggest putting the bowl into the freezer for a while and add then i whip the topping WITHOUT sugar. i fold the sugar in with a spatula. This is the ONLY recipe i will ever use and thank you :)

Turtle Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2007
In a word...FABULOUS!!! Easy, quick. The only change i made was i frosted the cake with milk chocolate frosting, which was delish! Very rich. Oh, and when caramel came out of the micro, it was separated, so i took a whisk (egg beater) and whisked the caramel for about 2-3 minutes and it was PERFECT! So YUMMY! THANKS!!!

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2007
THESE WERE SO SIMPLE. I only needed about 4 or 5 biscuits, so i cut the recipe in half. I used Hungry Jack Buttermilk pancake mix and half & half instead of milk, and added a little more milk because the biscuit mix seemed a little dry, along with a shredded mexican blend of cheese. THANK YOU SO MUCH! TASTE BETTER THAN THE RED 'SEAFOOD' JOINT! THANK YOU!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2007
This was fabulous! For the parmesean breading, i used half fresh grated parmesan and half powdery parmesan. I double coated the chicken, put them in the fridge before sauteing for 1/2 hour. I sauted them in olive oil. I used 'Classico' Sweet Basil Pasta Sauce. I put it on the bottom of the pan, then placed the chicken, then more pasta sauce, cooked them for 15 min. Next I used italian blend shredded cheese on top and cooked it for the last 5 minutes. I was asked if i went to the famous italian "OLIVE" restaurant to pick up dinner! I would give it more than 5 stars if i could and it was SOOO EASY! THANKS!

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
Here is the secret...#1 Use Sweet Baby Ray's HONEY BARBEQUE SAUCE, and you won't need any additional sweetness, #2 Use CRUSHED PINEAPPLE INSTEAD OF CHUNKS, and #3 Use Boneless Chicken Thigh meat or dark meat. I used thigh meat, and chopped into cubes oh and i used the red onions instead of yellow, and i doubled the peppers and added red and orange peppers also and about 5 min before i served it, i added 2 bunches of chopped green onions to the pot and served with chicken fried rice asian sides. It was awesome!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
My VERY FIRST apple pie. i used Johnagold apples. I cored them and then sliced them. I used a 9" round cake pan so i followed the directions and then made another batch of the syrup, but halved it. OH MY GOODNESS...THIS WAS AMAZING...It was gone in less than an hour with only 4 people eating it. THANK YOU SO MUCH! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I WILL EVER MAKE APPLE PIE. Oh and i didn't have butter, so i used Smart something margarine and added cinnamon to the mix and on top at the end. You can even sprinkle white sugar over the top and it was delish!! Thanks again!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2007
HERE IS THE TRICK...before baking, refrigerate dough for AT LEAST one hour. Bake only 13 minutes and store them in airtight container with a slice of bread in them to keep them moist. I don't know why it works, it just does. Thanks :)
